This deck leverages Atraxa, Praetors Voice to pilot an oppressive stun-counter control and stax strategy. The game plan focuses on neutralizing opposing threats by tapping permanents and placing stun counters with spells like Involuntary Cooldown, Lost in the Maze, and Fear of Sleep Paralysis. Atraxa and supplementary proliferate engines such as Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Inexorable Tide maintain these counters indefinitely, freezing opposing boards.
