Deck overview

This deck is a classic Gruul landfall stompy deck built around Omnath, Locus of Rage. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana rapidly during the early turns with efficient land-ramp sorceries such as Nature's Lore, Farseek, and Skyshroud Claim. Once the mana base reaches seven or more lands, the deck casts Omnath and begins generating massive 5/5 Elemental tokens with every subsequent land drop. Secondary engines like Ancient Greenwarden, Mina and Denn, Wildborn, and Oracle of Mul Daya multiply land drops from hand, library, and graveyard. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents in combat, boosting token armies with Overwhelming Stampede or hurling direct damage via Warstorm Surge. Crucially, Omnath's secondary ability turns every Elemental death into three direct damage to any target, making traditional sweepers perilous for opponents. While vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and early aggression, its deep redundancy of backup threats ensures sustained late-game resilience.
