Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Golgari Elf-tribal swarm deck built around Lathril, Blade of the Elves. There is no hidden commander; Lathril is the primary token engine and finisher through her activated life-drain. The plan is to develop an early Elf board, turn Lathril's combat damage into Warrior tokens, then tap ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10 life. Dionus, Elvish Archdruid and Copperhorn Scout can untap Elves for two drains in one turn. Backup wins come from a wide board plus Overrun, while Freyalise and Tyvar Kell supply tokens, value, and removal. The deck is fair midrange rather than combo.
