Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet discard and wheel strategy led by Astonishing Spider-Man. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost discard payoffs such as Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Magmakin Artillerist, and Cool but Rude, then utilizing the commander's attack trigger to pitch the hand and draw an equal or greater number of cards. This engine rapidly digs into mass-draw spells and explosive rituals like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Jeska's Will, and Mana Geyser. The deck converts card turnover directly into table-wide burn, closing games around Turn 5 or 6 through chained wheels or an Underworld Breach storm turn. A dense suite of efficient countermagic defends the engine against opposing disruption.
