Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal strategy led by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The core game plan focuses on dealing early chip damage to create Blood tokens, which Strefan then sacrifices on attack to cheat massive, high-impact Vampires onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Once big threats like Vein Ripper, Olivia's Attendants, and Butcher of Malakir enter play, the deck snowballs advantages through life drain, combat pressure, and creature sacrifice triggers. While the deck boasts high internal redundancy and punishing combat swings, it lacks fast mana, infinite combo finishes, and stack interaction. It plays at a solid midrange pace, using Blood tokens to sculpt hand quality while gradually grinding out opposing life totals.
