Deck overview

This Sultai mill deck is helmed by Homer, the Hermit, a 0/9 Crab Druid that turns landfall into a scalable mill weapon. The primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of creatures that count as Crabs, Lobsters, Starfish, Nautiluses, or Trilobites - primarily through changelings and type-changing enchantments such as Maskwood Nexus and Leyline of Transformation - then trigger multiple landfall events each turn to mill opponents out. A secondary, more compact win condition is the Bruvac the Grandiloquent + Maddening Cacophony (kicked) two-card combo that mills an entire library. The deck also includes a supplementary suite of direct mill spells and value engines like Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Tatyova, Benthic Druid to maintain card flow while advancing the landfall plan.
