Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black attrition and combo deck commanded by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. It pairs continuous life gain with severe group-slug penalties on opposing card draw. While Sheoldred buffers life totals and bleeds opponents through staples like Orcish Bowmasters, Underworld Dreams, and Fate Unraveler, the primary game plan aims to quickly assemble a two-card infinite drain loop using Exquisite Blood (or Bloodthirsty Conqueror) alongside Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest. Supported by premier black tutors including Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor, fast mana acceleration like Dark Ritual and Cabal Coffers, and efficient interaction such as Deadly Rollick and Toxic Deluge, the deck consistently closes out games on Turn 5 with an instant-speed table kill.
