Deck overview

This deck is a Naya aggro-midrange strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. The primary game plan revolves around turning lands and non-creature artifacts into resilient, aggressive creature threats using the earthbend mechanic. Low-cost mana acceleration allows Toph to hit the board on Turn 3 or 4, instantly animating a land on the end step. As the game develops into the mid-turns, high-synergy enablers such as The Earth King, Badgermole, and Quilled Greatwurm amplify the board's offensive power by adding trample, ramp, and rapid counter growth. Earthbent lands feature built-in insurance against wipes because they return to the battlefield tapped if destroyed or exiled. The deck relies on consecutive combat attacks to eliminate opponents by Turn 8 while utilizing redirection spells and targeted removal to maintain momentum.
