The Mindskinner

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mindskinner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-blue mill deck wins by emptying opponents' libraries. The Mindskinner converts its 10 combat damage into 10 mills per hit and cannot be blocked, but the main engine doubles mill with Bruvac the Grandiloquent and The Water Crystal. Half-library sorceries like Cut Your Losses, Traumatize, Maddening Cacophony, and attack triggers from Fleet Swallower and Terisian Mindbreaker then mill 40-90 cards at once, with Fraying Sanity repeating the count each end step. Grindstone plus Painter's Servant provides a compact infinite mill for one opponent per activation. Bruvac functions as the hidden commander; The Mindskinner adds a combat mill vector and protection but no combo requires it.
