Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Dragon tribal deck led by Scion of the Ur-Dragon, combining toolbox versatility with reanimation and aggressive combat finishes. The primary strategy uses Scion's activated ability to search the library for specific Dragons and copy their stats and abilities. In the early game, the deck accelerates mana using low-cost creatures and artifacts to overcome a color-intensive mana base. Once Scion enters play, it can transform into Atarka, World Render to threaten rapid commander damage eliminations, Ancient Silver Dragon to draw massive amounts of cards, or Old Gnawbone to generate overwhelming Treasure mana. Discarded Dragons are easily revived with cheap spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead. Token engines such as Utvara Hellkite and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm quickly multiply flying power, while Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert creature entries into direct damage to finish the table by Turn 7.
