Deck overview

This Shalai and Hallar deck is a synergistic Naya combo build designed to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. The deck's primary game plan revolves around pairing Shalai and Hallar with a lifelink enabler (such as Spirit Link or Sheltered by Ghosts) and any creature that gains a +1/+1 counter whenever life is gained (such as Ajani's Pridemate, Trelasarra, Moon Dancer, or Voice of the Blessed). Once active, any lifegain event or counter placement triggers Shalai and Hallar to deal damage to an opponent, which lifelink turns into lifegain, placing another counter and looping until all opponents take lethal damage. The list features high functional redundancy, dense 1-2 CMC ramp, and low-cost protection spells that double as combo enablers, creating a fast and consistent Turn 4-5 clock backed by midgame +1/+1 counter beatdown lines.
