MARALEN by user5113585

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a BUG Elf/Faerie value-tribal deck that uses every entry trigger to exile opponents' libraries and cast their spells for free. The primary plan is to land Maralen on turn 3-4, flood the board with Elves and Faeries, then convert that mass into combat damage plus occasional Lathril drains. Secondary paths include Emergent Ultimatum for two free spells, Kindred Summons/Bloodline Bidding for explosive boards, and Gonti/Maralen theft for unexpected lines. Maskwood Nexus turns all creatures into both relevant types, supercharging Maralen, Obyra's life drain, and Spell Stutter. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins incrementally with evasion, anthems, and card advantage.
