Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-green stompy and combo engine centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It leverages ultra-efficient mana dorks and undercosted high-power creatures like Phyrexian Soulgorger and Slumbering Trudge to reduce Ghalta's casting cost down to {G}{G} as early as turn 3 or 4. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, the deck converts its 12 power into massive card advantage using draw spells such as Greater Good, Life's Legacy, and Rishkar's Expertise, drawing 8 to 12 cards in a single burst. From this overwhelming grip, the deck transitions into lethal combat via Craterhoof Behemoth, Concordant Crossroads, or Finale of Devastation, backed by infinite mana loops with Umbral Mantle and Marwyn, the Nurturer. The list features dense creature tutoring and efficient protective spells like Veil of Summer and Heroic Intervention, sacrificing stax interaction for overwhelming proactive speed.
