Deck overview

This Azorius combo deck is built around Lyse Hext, whose static ability reduces the casting cost of all noncreature spells by {1}. This discount converts over a dozen two-mana cantrip artifacts into one-mana cyclers, allowing the deck to dig through its library rapidly. The primary win condition is an artifact storm loop using Mystic Forge (or Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass) and Sensei's Divining Top. With Lyse Hext or any backup cost reducer in play, Top costs zero mana to cast from the top of the library, enabling the pilot to draw the entire deck. Once the library is in hand, fast mana pieces like Mox Opal and Lotus Petal generate mana to cast Grand Abolisher for protection and Approach of the Second Sun twice in the same turn for an immediate victory. The deck features redundant artifact tutors, cheap interaction, and alternative combat angles with equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden.
