Deck overview

Mimeoplasm, Revered One is the deck's central payoff. The plan fills the graveyard with Buried Alive, Vile Entomber, Unmarked Grave, or related selection, then casts the commander with several creature cards available for exile. Copying Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon gives Mimeoplasm, Revered One infect, while its +1/+1 counters and Triumph of the Hordes provide lethal power. The earliest ordinary must-answer state is a turn 7 attack, followed by attacks on turns 8 and 9 to finish the table. The deck also plays a useful interaction suite and can exploit poison counters with proliferate, but it lacks a compact combo, a hard lock, and reliable fast protection. Its main strengths are flexible graveyard access, strong single-target removal, and a potentially lethal commander attack. Its main costs are high mana requirements, multiple dependent cards, vulnerable graveyard preparation, and limited recovery after the commander is removed.
