Deck overview

This mono-black Zombie tribal deck is commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The deck's primary plan revolves around assembling low-cost Zombie creatures, ramping into Gisa, and sacrificing high-power or recursive creatures like Gravecrawler and Fleshbag Marauder to spawn large swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once a critical mass of tokens is generated, tribal lords such as Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed buff the horde with power increases, deathtouch, and menace to overwhelm opponents in combat. Secondary win conditions include massive life-drain bursts via Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead. The deck boasts strong internal synergy and steady card draw through Cryptbreaker, Graveborn Muse, and Undead Augur, along with resilient graveyard recursion. However, it suffers from summoning sickness delays on Gisa, a lack of protective spells, and minimal artifact interaction.
