Deck overview

This Dimir control deck uses graveyard-filling strategies to disrupt opponents and fuel its own win conditions. Led by Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker, the deck can pressure opposing libraries through combat triggers, but its primary win path is an infinite combo between Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank. Activating Guildmage's ability with Mindcrank on the battlefield creates an inescapable loop where every card milled drains 1 life, and every point of life lost mills another card, wiping out all three opponents in a single turn. The deck supports this game plan with efficient blue countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Counterspell, robust black removal, and strong card advantage engines like Sire of Stagnation and Phyrexian Arena. Alternate win routes include massive life-drain bursts from Syr Konrad, the Grim paired with large mill spells like Maddening Cacophony, or growing massive beaters such as Consuming Aberration and Mortivore.
