Firkraag Precon (B. 2) by user5030990

Format: Commander

Commander: Firkraag, Cunning Instigator

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Firkraag, Cunning Instigator leads an Izzet forced-combat control deck that weaponizes opposing boards against one another while assembling large flying threats. The game plan revolves around goading enemy creatures and casting global attack mandates like Disrupt Decorum, Angler Turtle, and Warmonger Hellkite. Whenever forced attackers strike opponents, Firkraag rewards you with steady card draw and +1/+1 counters. Meanwhile, defensive measures like Propaganda, Crawlspace, and Dissipation Field ensure the battlefield aggression stays redirected away from your life total. You close out the game by snowballing card advantage into devastating high-mana finishers, including Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, Hellkite Tyrant, and Astral Dragon.
