Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal midrange build that uses Blood tokens to filter draws and cheat high-cost Vampires into play. Commanded by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor, the primary plan revolves around dealing incremental life loss each turn to amass Blood tokens. Strefan converts these tokens into free, tapped-and-attacking heavy hitters like Necropolis Regent, Patron of the Vein, and Crossway Troublemakers. The deck controls opposing battlefields through asymmetric creature wipes such as Olivia's Wrath and edict attrition from Anowon, the Ruin Sage and Butcher of Malakir. While the deck develops a resilient combat presence with indestructible attack triggers and substantial lifelink buffers, it lacks hard tutoring and instant-speed stack protection. Victory is achieved through scaling combat damage and life-drain effects across Turns 8 to 9.
