Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment aggro strategy led by Dwalin, Weaponmaster. The game plan revolves around playing early Dwarves and Equipment, then attacking with Dwalin to accumulate hone counters that permanently boost equipped attackers. Synergies like Dáin Ironfoot provide double strike, while Bifur, Melodic Rider doubles Dwarf triggers to rapidly scale combat damage. However, the construction features an extreme land count of 61 basic lands and very few nonland spells, resulting in significant top-deck variance and flood risk. With no tutors and only five Equipment sources in the ninety-nine, assembling the optimal engine depends on natural draws. Interaction and protection are minimal, consisting of isolated spells like Pinecone Strike, Deflecting Palm, and Concerted Care. When uninterrupted, the deck steadily grows its board into a lethal combat clock by Turn 7, closing out the table around Turn 10 through focused combat steps.
