Traxos, Scourge of Kroog by Raven318

Format: Commander

Commander: Traxos, Scourge of Kroog

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a colorless artifact deck helmed by Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, built around the simple loop of casting historic spells - which is nearly every card in the deck, since artifacts and legendaries are historic - to untap the 7/7 trampler and swing for commander damage. The primary plan is voltron: suit Traxos with Fireshrieker, Blackblade Reforged, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Swiftfoot Boots, then close games with 21+ commander damage. Secondary lines include big artifact creature beatdown (Myr Battlesphere, Wurmcoil Engine, Metalwork Colossus) and a Glaring Fleshraker + Echoes of Eternity damage engine. The deck is a midrange artifact goodstuff/voltron hybrid with heavy mana acceleration from Forsaken Monument, Karn, Legacy Reforged, Blinkmoth Urn, and the Urza lands.
