Format: Commander

Commander: Hidetsugu and Kairi

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hidetsugu and Kairi is both the engine and the win condition. The deck ramps or reduces its cost, casts the commander to draw three and stack extra-turn spells on top, then kills it with Saw in Half or Necromantic Selection so the death trigger exiles and free-casts Time Stretch, Temporal Trespass, or Beacon of Tomorrows while draining life. Clone spells and Drivnod multiply the commander and double death triggers, chaining extra turns into a flying beatdown or mass drain finish. There is no hidden commander; the deck is a self-contained Hidetsugu and Kairi combo-control build. Secondary paths are Mnemonic Deluge copying Time Stretch and Mystic Sanctuary recursion.
