Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses The Wise Mothman to execute a hybrid strategy combining group mill, radiation counters, +1/+1 counter distribution, and graveyard recursion. Early ramp cards like Sol Ring, Nature's Lore, and two-mana Talismans deploy the commander ahead of curve on Turn 3 or 4. Once on the battlefield, Mothman inflicts rad counters across the table. Each turn, opponents mill cards and lose life, which continuously grows your creatures with +1/+1 counters. The deck leverages the resulting loaded graveyards through reanimation spells such as Reanimate, Dread Return, and mass reanimators like Breach the Multiverse and Rise of the Dark Realms. Standalone cryptid beaters and defensive spells like Inspiring Call and Mutational Advantage protect your board while pressuring life totals. Lacking fast combo finishes or hard stax locks, the deck relies on steady combat damage, radiant attrition, and resilient graveyard value to eliminate opponents over multiple turns.
