Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet tempo and aggro deck helmed by the partner commanders Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The primary game plan revolves around casting both commanders early to turn Malcolm's flying combat hits into table-wide damage triggers via Kediss. Because Malcolm is a Pirate, every opponent damaged by his combat or Kediss triggers creates a Treasure token, generating up to three Treasures per attack step. The deck converts this rapid mana acceleration into midgame board pressure, deploying high-power equipment like Grafted Wargear, disruptive planeswalkers like Narset, Parter of Veils, and artifact finishers like Fathom Fleet Swordjack and Traxos, Scourge of Kroog. While the deck generates massive mana velocity once the commanders connect, it lacks instant-win combos or heavy tutor suites. It relies on resilient combat steps, incremental burn, and protective tools like Lightning Greaves and Esior, Wardwing Familiar to wear down all three opponents simultaneously.
