Deck overview

This mono-blue midrange deck is commanded by Donatello, Mutant Mechanic, focusing on converting utility artifacts into growing Robot beaters through +1/+1 counters and modular recursion. Early turns prioritize deploying artifact ramp such as Sol Ring, Etherium Sculptor, and Insight Engine to establish mana velocity and steady card flow. On Turn 4, Donatello arrives to animate artifacts and seed counters, which are compounded by proliferate and doubling engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Arcade Cabinet. The deck achieves critical onset around Turn 6 by deploying wide evasive finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener or tall threats like Threefold Thunderhulk and Walking Ballista. Donatello's triggered ability preserves counters when artifacts die, transferring power across the board. While the deck possesses strong board-state resilience and high creature pressure, its low density of instant-speed interaction and absence of stack counterspells leave it exposed to fast opposing combos and mass exile effects.
