Toph Earthbending by skarsev

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Naya (red-green-white) deck, helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, is a land-creature aggro strategy built entirely around the earthbend mechanic. The plan is to turn lands into 0/0 creatures with haste and +1/+1 counters, multiply those counters with a dense doubling suite (Hardened Scales, Conclave Mentor, Innkeeper's Talent, Kami of Whispered Hopes), and close the game with double-striking land creatures (Toph, Greatest Earthbender) and extra combat steps (Bumi, Unleashed). The commander uniquely converts nontoken artifacts into lands, letting you earthbend your Sol Ring and Signets into attackers while triggering landfall. The 99 is packed with Toph variants acting as hidden backup commanders, plus extra-land-drop engines (Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Exploration, Oracle of Mul Daya) and counter synergies. There are no infinite combos - the deck wins through overwhelming combat inevitability.
