Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai kindred aggro-midrange build centered on Captain America, Team Leader. The commander provides immediate haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters to every subsequent Hero that enters the battlefield. This tempo allows the deck to bypass summoning sickness, applying immediate pressure while keeping blockers active. The creature suite leverages modified synergies through cards like Araña, Heart of the Spider, Iron Man, Armored Avenger, and War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, transforming standard attacks into card draw and double-striking evasive swings. Asymmetric board wipes like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict selectively destroy or bounce opposing creatures while sparing your modified Heroes, opening wide avenues for lethal combat. Robust protection pieces such as Spectacular Spider-Man and Captain America, Super-Soldier shield key threats against targeted removal and destruction effects. The deck reliably curves into operational efficiency by Turn 4 and closes games through coordinated combat waves around Turn 7.
