Deck overview

This Azorius Superfriends deck pairs Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion with Candlekeep Sage to build a potent counter-multiplication and card-draw engine. Lae'zel increases all counters placed on your permanents, enabling planeswalkers to enter with additional loyalty and gain loyalty faster when activating plus-abilities. Meanwhile, Candlekeep Sage turns every blink spell targeting your commander into a burst of two cards. The deck controls the board with efficient Azorius removal, attack-taxing pillowfort enchantments, and board wipes. Once established, explosive multipliers such as Deepglow Skate and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus push planeswalkers like Narset Transcendent and Teferi, Hero of Dominaria straight into game-ending emblems. Opponents find their noncreature spells locked out and their boards systematically dismantled, while a growing army of evasive tokens cleans up the table over two combat steps.
