Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Grixis combo-control deck commanded by Obeka, Brute Chronologist. The primary strategy leverages Obeka's ability to end the turn on your own turn while negative delayed triggers sit on the stack. This bypasses the fatal 'lose the game' triggers of red extra-turn spells like Final Fortune, Last Chance, and Warrior's Oath, as well as the sacrifice and exile clauses on temporary tokens created by Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Feldon of the Third Path, and Flameshadow Conjuring. The deck accelerates its mana with 2-CMC mana rocks and controls the table with efficient countermagic, targeted removal, and Opposition Agent. Its decisive win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker paired with Combat Celebrant or Zealous Conscripts, delivering an immediate table kill on Turn 5 through infinite hasty attackers.
