Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red storm and burn engine built around The Vision and Scarlet Witch, who refunds {R} and accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever any spell is cast. The strategy focuses on accelerating the commander onto the battlefield by Turn 4, followed by an explosive Turn 5 storm turn powered by cheap cantrips, 0-mana creatures, rituals, and impulse card draw. Damage is converted into direct life loss for all three opponents through redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Impact Tremors, or closed out through infinite loops such as Grinning Ignus self-bouncing or the Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame copy combo. While the deck possesses explosive same-turn kill potential and solid recovery through alternate engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Underworld Breach, it remains vulnerable to targeted creature removal and board sweepers during the turn cycle its commander is deployed.
