Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari token swarm and aristocrats strategy led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Chatterfang by turn 3, followed by token generators that trigger Chatterfang's passive ability to flood the battlefield with 1/1 Squirrel tokens. The deck converts these tokens into mana, card draw, and removal using Citanul Hierophants, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and Chatterfang's -X/-X sacrifice ability. It wins on turn 5 through overwhelming combat damage with Craterhoof Behemoth or Beastmaster Ascension, through life drain with Zulaport Cutthroat and Nadier's Nightblade, or via an infinite token combo with Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest. While the deck possesses strong card draw and creature control, its reliance on permanent-based engines makes it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and mass exile.
