Flying tokens by Hellzpyro

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment aims to generate overwhelming token armies and chain extra combat steps for a decisive turn. The commander creates a scaling flying haste Elemental at the beginning of each combat if you've cast an instant or sorcery that turn, rewarding you for slinging high-mana-value spells. The deck supports this with token multipliers like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer, explosive ritual effects such as Mana Geyser, and a suite of extra-combat cards (Relentless Assault, Full Throttle, Genji Glove, Hexplate Wallbreaker). The primary win condition is a single massive turn where you cast a big spell, create multiple huge tokens across successive combats, and swing for lethal. Secondary lines include copying spells with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame for an infinite token loop, or using Crackle with Power as a direct finisher.
