Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-storm and midrange combat deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The core plan is to flood the board with Treasure tokens, spend them to fuel Smaug, Wicked Worm's cast trigger for continuous card advantage, and convert that mana and density into either infinite combat loops, artifact-ETB burn, or token-drain finishes. Smaug himself is a command-zone draw engine and a burst Treasure generator on ETB (scaling with opponents' artifacts), making him central to card flow but not a hard combo piece. Primary wins come from layered Treasure combos (often involving Aggravated Assault, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Academy Manufactor, and drain/ping payoffs) and explosive multi-combat turns with dragons and The Reaver Cleaver. The deck mixes efficient ramp rocks, red ritual-style Treasure bursts, and a surprisingly dense redirection suite to protect its windows.
