Spellslinger 2.0 by NeoLalo

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is an Izzet spellslinger-aggro commander whose tap ability adds X mana equal to her power during your turn, while her triggered ability grows her and pings each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell. The deck's primary path is to convert cheap noncreature spells into damage multipliers and storm-like copy effects, ultimately burning all opponents out with big X spells. A secondary plan uses Quicksilver Elemental to copy Vivi's activated ability for enormous mana, then channel that mana into Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno. The deck is interaction-dense, with a full counterspell suite to protect its combo and clear the way. Omniscience, Prismari, and Ral provide fail-safe engines that either reduce cost or create storm copies, letting the deck overwhelm even if the commander is repeatedly answered.
