Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai elf-combo deck. The primary plan is to ramp with cheap elves, use a dense tutor suite, and assemble a life-drain loop-Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus a drain-on-gain outlet such as Starscape Cleric, Dina, Vito, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Enduring Tenacity-then trigger one loss of life to loop for lethal. A parallel infinite-mana line uses Priest of Titania or Circle of Dreams Druid with Staff of Domination/Umbral Mantle and finishes with Finale of Devastation. Thranduil reuses dead mana elves' activated abilities from the graveyard and draws when other legendary elves enter, but the win lines do not need him. Eladamri, Korvecdal acts as the closest hidden engine, adding topdeck casting and extra creature tutelage.
