Omo - Queen of Vesuva by Ramiel7

Format: Commander

Commander: Omo, Queen of Vesuva

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic lands-matter midrange deck helmed by Omo, Queen of Vesuva. Omo sprinkles "everything" counters that turn lands into every land type and creatures into every creature type, unlocking Gate/Locus/Urza's payoffs, tribal anthems, and Maze's End. The deck floods the board with extra land drops (Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait), converts them into armies via landfall (Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths), and closes with either a hasty land-animation turn (March from Velis Vel), a 20/20 Dark Depths Marit Lage, or overwhelming combat. Secondary engines include big-mana cascades (Apex Devastator, Mana Reflection) and sticky threats like the two Komalike. Omo is a powerful enabler but not a hard lock-piece; the 99 still functions as a classic ramp-landfall deck without her.
