Deck overview

This mono-red deck is an aggressive, engine-driven Dragon Stompy build commanded by Smaug the Magnificent. It focuses on rapidly generating Treasure tokens through low-curve enablers, utility creatures, and spells like Professional Face-Breaker, Xorn, and Big Score. Smaug acts as both an automatic Treasure producer and a lethal payoff, using his innate haste and flying to attack immediately and burn any target for damage equal to your Treasure count. The deck leverages its massive mana velocity to deploy game-ending Dragon threats such as Ancient Copper Dragon, Terror of the Peaks, and Goldspan Dragon, or to execute explosive finishes with Crackle with Power and Aggravated Assault. Supported by efficient red stack interaction and redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Pyroblast, the deck presents a fast, resilient clock that quickly overwhelms opposing life totals.
