Commander: Kardur, Doomscourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Kardur, Doomscourge to force opponents to attack each other and drains the table when attacking creatures die. You build a board of small recursive creatures and aristocrats payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Vein Ripper that turn every death into life loss. Kardur adds a temporary forced-combat effect and an extra drain trigger, but the deck does not depend on him to win. Secondary paths include wiping the board for mass drain and finishing with Exsanguinate or Profane Command. Vein Ripper acts as a hidden commander as the strongest payoff. The plan is slow, grindy attrition that improves in long games.
