Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The strategy revolves around using Veyran to double every magecraft, prowess, and spell-cast trigger. The deck uses a dense package of one-mana cantrips to rapidly cycle through the library while generating mana with Storm-Kiln Artist, Runaway Steam-Kin, and rituals like Seething Song. It translates spell volume into game-ending damage through pingers such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage, which deal lethal damage across the entire table in a single storm turn. Alternatively, the deck can execute an infinite mana and storm loop with Storm-Kiln Artist and Haze of Rage, or swing for lethal combat damage using Bria, Riptide Rogue and Stormsplitter. While lacking fast mana rocks and direct tutors, the deck compensates with extreme card-draw velocity and redundant win conditions.
