Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan toughness-matters combat and value engine piloted by Felothar the Steadfast. It leverages cheap, high-toughness defenders (such as Shield Sphere, Wall of Blossoms, and Indomitable Ancients) as both defensive roadblocks and hyper-efficient attackers once Felothar or redundant enablers like Doran, Besieged by Time and Assault Formation convert toughness into combat damage. Felothar also functions as a powerful card engine, sacrificing low-power, high-toughness creatures to draw massive bursts of cards without losing hand size. The deck breaks parity on symmetric stax and sweepers using Meekstone, Slaughter the Strong, and Dusk // Dawn, which neutralize opposing high-power threats while leaving its own board entirely untouched. Although it lacks fast stack interaction and tutors, it generates immense combat pressure and resilient recovery through mass reanimation.
