Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color tribal deck designed to deploy massive, evasive Dragon threats well ahead of curve. The commander's Eminence ability provides passive mana reduction from the command zone, while its battlefield presence offers immense card draw and permanent cheating. The early game focuses on establishing a multicolored mana foundation through dorks, land ramp, and specialized cost reducers. In the mid-to-late game, the deck snowballs with powerhouse force multipliers like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Terror of the Peaks. Lethal finishes are secured through overwhelming aerial combat backed by Atarka, World Render, burst Treasure production from Old Gnawbone, or alternate win conditions like Call the Spirit Dragons.
