Deck overview

This Grixis midrange deck harnesses Sauron, the Dark Lord to generate continuous board presence and immense card advantage. By leveraging opponent spell casts to amass a towering Orc Army, the deck quickly establishes an evasive Ring-bearer that triggers the Ring tempts you on combat connection. Sauron converts every tempt trigger into a full hand reload, discarding low-resource hands to draw four fresh cards. The deck capitalizes on this velocity by flooding the board with six copies of Nazgûl, wide token generation from Lord of the Nazgûl, and trample enablers like Orcish Siegemaster. Supporting control elements such as Orcish Bowmasters, Notion Thief, and Spiteful Banditry punish opponent resource development while keeping the battlefield clear. Protected by Sauron's severe legendary Ward cost and swift graveyard recursion via Dread Return and Victimize, the deck steadily grinds down opponents before unleashing overwhelming combat damage.
