Deck overview

This Azorius combo-control deck uses Rex, Cyber-Hound as an activated-ability conduit to execute an infinite mana loop. By deploying early energy enablers such as Tune the Narrative, Aether Theorist, or Solar Transformer, the deck banks at least four energy counters before casting Rex, Cyber-Hound. It then casts Gifts Ungiven to place Pili-Pala and a two-mana tap creature like Palladium Myr or Vedalken Engineer directly into the graveyard. Rex exiles both creatures with brain counters at sorcery speed for zero mana, gaining their abilities to generate infinite colored mana via the untap mechanic. The infinite mana is immediately converted into a same-turn table win with Walking Ballista or Knacksaw Clique. Backed by a dense suite of free and efficient counterspells including Force of Will, Pact of Negation, and Dovin's Veto, the deck protects its combo window reliably while disrupting opposing threats.
