Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger and artifact token strategy led by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. The game plan revolves around casting cheap noncreature spells—such as cantrips, mana rocks, and interaction—to generate an evasive army of 1/1 flying Thopters that inherently have haste under Saheeli. The deck capitalizes on entering artifacts and creatures through aggressive burn engines like Impact Tremors, Reckless Fireweaver, and Ingenious Artillerist, while also leveraging combat-damage card draw like Coastal Piracy and Bident of Thassa to keep the hand full. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled, team pump effects such as Shared Animosity and Forsaken Monument or token converters like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer swiftly eliminate the table in combat. A lean suite of efficient countermagic and bounce spells ensures that opposing threats are disrupted while protecting Saheeli's board from opposing wipes.
