Deck overview

This Sultai deck blends graveyard value, landfall synergies, and aristocrat drain engines under Teval, the Balanced Scale. By combining low-cost ramp with Teval's ability to mill cards and return lands upon attacking, the deck quickly generates tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. These tokens feed powerful sacrifice outlets like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Warren Soultrader, translating board presence into massive card advantage and asymmetric creature suppression via Grave Pact and Sothera, the Supervoid. Lethality scales naturally through drain pieces such as Bastion of Remembrance, Marionette Apprentice, and Mirkwood Bats, alongside token swarms from Scute Swarm and Field of the Dead. The deck is reinforced by an efficient suite of free and low-cost interaction including Fierce Guardianship, Force of Vigor, and Assassin's Trophy, ensuring it can protect its own compounding board state while dismantling opposing game plans.
