Deck overview

This Temur deck harnesses Magus Lucea Kane to accelerate and duplicate high-impact X-spells, fusing aggressive Tyranid swarms, massive Hydras, and scalable burn spells. In the opening turns, cheap green ramp spells and mana dorks establish the necessary mana base to deploy Lucea Kane on turn 3. Once active on turn 4, Lucea Kane taps for two colorless mana and automatically copies the next X-spell cast each turn. This allows the deck to flood the board with paired Ravenous creatures like Zoanthrope, Sporocyst, and Hydroid Krasis, immediately drawing cards while creating double the board presence. By turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat state through explosive combat enablers like Kalonian Hydra and Herald of Secret Streams, or direct burn via All Will Be One and Crackle with Power. While vulnerable to creature removal directed at Lucea Kane before she untaps, redundant engines like Unbound Flourishing and protective instants provide solid resilience and decisive closing power.
