BETOR by user5430000

Format: Commander

Commander: Betor, Ancestor's Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Betor is a single-faced commander built as a life-gain/counter engine. The primary plan is to gain life through lifelink combat and small life triggers, then convert that life into +1/+1 counters via Betor and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn (the hidden commander). Attacking with huge flying lifelinkers closes out players one at a time. A secondary drain line uses Dina, Soul Steeper, Indulging Patrician, and Jaws of Defeat, while K'rrik, Tivash, and Beledros turn life into mana and demons. Reanimation from Betor, Priest of Fell Rites, and Will of the Abzan recurs key pieces. The deck is a resilient value-oriented midrange build with no true combo finish.
