Dragons by Straightshooter3

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck leverages The Ur-Dragon's Eminence ability to reduce casting costs from the command zone, rapidly deploying massive flying threats ahead of curve. The primary game plan develops ramp and cost-reducing permanents in the early turns, transitions into mid-game engine pieces that draw cards and duplicate Dragons, and overwhelms the table through high-damage combat steps. Secondary paths leverage explosive burst damage via double strike enablers and direct burn triggers upon creature entry. The commander acts primarily as a passive cost reducer throughout the game, occasionally entering the battlefield via hardcast or temporary cheat effects to draw cards and drop free permanents.
