The reaper, king no more edh by cp1e

Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More leads a Jund -1/-1 counter engine that turns death triggers into theft and incremental advantage. The primary plan is to layer counter outlets such as Yawgmoth, Crumbling Ashes, and Black Sun's Zenith with token generators Hapatra, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses, then drain with Blood Artist and Obelisk Spider. The commander provides a one-per-turn theft trigger and an ETB that seeds two counters. Secondary paths are compact creature-combo wins: Devoted Druid with Quillspike and All Will Be One, or Mikaeus and Devoted Druid feeding Walking Ballista. The Scorpion God and Hapatra act as hidden commanders in the 99, supplying the draw and token half of the engine.
