Ellie and Alan TEST by Beardsman

Format: Commander

Commander: Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists leads a Bant combo-value deck that uses its tap ability to Discover from the graveyard, cheating out large creatures while untap effects reuse the commander multiple times per turn. The true engine is an untap-mana loop: Bloom Tender produces WUG once a WUG permanent is in play, and Seeker of Skybreak or Aphetto Alchemist, copied by Rings of Brighthearth, untaps both itself and Bloom Tender for infinite colored mana. Staff of Domination then draws the deck and Walking Ballista kills. Secondary plans use Derevi, Helga, Chulane, Seedborn Muse, and Shorikai for incremental value and combat. Derevi acts as a hidden-commander-grade untap engine in the 99.
